Linda J Abrams

Linda J. Abrams, 77, of Taylor Ridge, IL, passed away Thursday, November 17, 2016, at the home of her daughter, Becki Patterson Anderson, with family at her side. Per her wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. The family would like to extend an invitation to friends and family to attend a Celebration of Life on Wednesday, November 23rd, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., at Wendt Funeral Home in Moline, with a Memorial Service at 7:00. Linda Julienne Patterson was born October 1, 1939, in Greene Township of Mercer County, IL, to Lawrence and Willie Gladys (Hobbs) Patterson. On June 9, 1968, in Silvis, IL, she married Donald Abrams, who preceded her in death September 17, 2005. Survivors include her daughters, Becki J. Patterson (Irving) Anderson of Taylor Ridge, and Teresa Patterson (Dave) Ortberg of Moline, IL; grandchildren, Lucas Ortberg of Rock Island, IL, Jenna Ortberg of Macomb, IL, Taylor and Reese Anderson of Taylor Ridge; stepchildren, Mitch Abrams of Chicago, IL, and Linda Abrams Kirk of Windsor, CT; brother Paul (Billie Jo) Patterson of Buckeye, AZ; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, Don, she was preceded in death by her father, Lawrence Patterson, her mother, W. Gladys Hobbs (Tom) Margetich, and her sister, Sally Weston.
