Lin Dee Elsea

Lin Dee Elsea, 62, of McCausland, IA, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Tuesday, November 16, 2021, at Unity Point in Bettendorf, IA.

Lin was born in Moline, IL on March 17, 1959, to Paul and Jeannine (Sunderland) Suverkrup Jr. She graduated in 1977 from Pleasant Valley High School, Pleasant Valley, IA. She received her CNA certification and went on to work for LabCorp for several years. Prior to that she drove a school bus for the DeWitt School District.

Lin's ultimate joys were animals, her family and being by the water, especially the river and one of her favorite quotes was: "Oh What A Beautiful Day."

Her survivors include her sons, Nicolas Elsea, Vincent (Shelby) Elsea; her mother, Jeannine Suverkrup; sisters, Debbie (Tom) Tucker, Susan Suverkrup; brother, Bradlee Marshall Suverkrup; nieces, Brooke Clark, Amy Dickerson, Ella Martin and a nephew, James Paul Ostino.

She was preceded in death by her father, Paul Marshall Suverkrup Jr., grandparents and a sister, Nancy Ostino.

A private family graveside service will be held on Friday, November 19, 2021 at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline, IL.

Memorials may be made to the Animal Welfare Center, Milan, IL.
