Leta Fox, 94, died Sunday, June 14, 2009, at her home in East Moline. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 17th, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., at Wendt Funeral Home in Moline. Services will be Thursday, June 18th, at 11:00 a.m., at the funeral home. Burial will be in Rose Lawn Cemetery in Moline. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice. Leta L. Enderton was born in Moline, IL, on March 5, 1915, to Abraham and Bertha (Dodd) Enderton. On February 1, 1934, in East Moline, she married Maurice D. Fox, who preceded her in death July 12, 1963. She worked as an administrative assistant at the Rock Island Arsenal, and for Target Stores, and retired in 1981. She was a devout Christian, and a member of First Christian Church in East Moline, where she was active in CWF and as a youth leader. Survivors include: a daughter: Myrna (Francis) Harris of Moline; a son: Roger (Phyllis) Fox of Wheatfield, IN; seven grandchildren: Melody Harris, Merrilee (Brad) Batten, Marlana (Keith) Karstens, Scott (Debi) Harris, Jeff (Cindy) Fox, Dan (Jill) Fox, and Jill (Jeff) Seaman; and nineteen great-grandchildren: Nathan, Ryan, Nicholas, Alex, Josh, Stephen, Kevin, Tyler, D.J., Justin, Hezekiah, Donovan, Connor, Lara, Gabbi, Katie, Laura, Cheryl, and Jennifer. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters, three brothers, and two sons: Dennis and Mark Fox.
