Lawrence W Darby

Lawrence W. Darby, 90, of Moline died Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at Hope Creek Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center in East Moline.

Lawrence was born on November 27, 1932, in Moline to Clarence and Anna (Beckman) Darby.

He worked for th Laborers Local 309, retiring in 1993.

Lawrence enjoyed golfing and spending time with family.

Survivors include his son William A. Darby, East Moline, IL; step-daughter Jamie Purdy, Colona, IL; and two grandchildren Jennifer and Chance Darby.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister Evelyn N. Beukenhorst; and partner Diana Freels.
