Larry D. Maupin, 56, of Rock Island, IL, died Friday, September 11, 2009, at Trinity Pathway Hospice in Bettendorf, IA. Per his wishes, cremation rites were accorded. No services will be hel. Memorials may be made to Trinity Pathway Hospice. Larry D. Maupin was born in Commerce City, CO, on August 19, 1953, to Harvey and Judy (Pompey) Maupin. On February 16, 1994, in Prescott, AZ, he married Sharon Keeton, who survives. He was a roofer, and a member of Roofers Union Local 32. He retired, in 2008, after 15 years at Economy Roofing in Bettendorf. In addition to his wife, Sharon, survivors include: two daughters: Shannon Haner and Larisha Maupin; a son: Jacob Maupin; a stepdaughter: Kacey Lamb; a stepson: Matt Clark; three brothers: Harvey, Jr, Gary, and Jerry Maupin; four grandchildren, and four step-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.
