Kimberly Denise Von Motz

Kim von Motz, 58, of Moline, IL, passed away at her home on Monday, December 22, 2014. Per her wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. Services will be Sunday, January 4, 2015, at 4:00 p.m., at Wendt Funeral Home in Moline, with a two-hour visitation prior to the services, beginning at 2:00 p.m. Memorials may be made to Riverbend Foodbank or QC Animal Welfare Center. Kimberly D. Kruger was born in Moline on May 4, 1956, to Jerry and Patricia (Bjurstrom) Kruger. She was a graduate of Moline High School, and was employed for 37 years at the Robert Young Mental Health Facility in Rock Island, IL. She enjoyed fishing and gardening, and was an avid fan of the Cubs and Bears. Survivors include a daughter, Jenifer (Kevin) Rodgers of Plainfield, IL; a son, Charlie (Cassandra) von Motz of Port Byron, IL; two brothers, Jay (Kris) Kruger of Port Byron, IL and Kurt (Faith) Kruger of Geneseo, IL; grandchildren Aiden, Adaleah, Emma, Lorelei, and Griffin; many nieces and nephews; and her best friend in the whole world, Darla Jackson.
