Kenneth Bowman

Kenneth Eugene Bowman was born on July 30, 1944, in Golconda, IL, and passed away peacefully on November 6, 2022, at the age of 78, while surrounded by loved ones.

Services will be held at Wendt Funeral Home on Thursday, November 10, 2022, at noon, with a visitation from 10 am until the time of service. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline, IL.

Kenneth was also known as "Pretty Boy" to many that have known him, and as Ken would say, "he's the one and only!!" He enjoyed woodworking and bowling and was a "social butterfly" who loved telling jokes.

He first married Diana Linn and later married Peggy Thompson. Ken was an Army veteran and retired at 48 years old from Navistar in Springfield, OH.

Kenneth is survived by his children Wendy (Andrew) Holmes, Heather Rosmann, Melissa (Peter) Jeffers, Jennifer (Charles) Cole, Todd Wesley (Laura) Bowman; ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; two brothers-in-law, Elmer Hepner and Clarence VerSluys.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, and his two sisters.
