Kathy L Noble

Kathy L. Noble, age 56, of Moline, IL, died Saturday, December 13, 2008, at Trinity Medical Center West in Rock Island, IL. Services will be held on Wednesday, December 17th at 10:30 A.M. at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Moline. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 16th from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Wendt Funeral Home in Moline. Burial will be immediately following the Services at National Cemetery, Rock Island Arsenal, Rock Island, IL. Memorials may be made to the family which will be used to purchase a gift for people receiving cancer treatments. Kathy L. Matter was born in Webster City, IA on November 22, 1954 to Richard "Dick" and Reta (Ribble) Matter. She married Randy Noble on November 2nd, 1991. Kathy graduated from Moline High School in 1971. She attended Lutheran Hospital School for Respiratory Therapy as well as received an Associate's Degree from Blackhawk College in 1975. Immediately following her education, she was employed by the former Franciscan Hospital, and later by Trinity Medical Center. She was a caring and devoted Respiratory Therapist at Trinity until leaving in August, 2008. Her colleagues at Trinity were like a second family to Kathy. Kathy enjoyed traveling with her husband, Randy. They took numerous cruises together, and she will be missed by their many friends they met while cruising, and the many cats that she lovingly cared for at home. Survivors include her Husband: Randy Noble of Moline; sons: Mathew (Sarah) Gibson of Portland, OR, and Russell (Rosemary) Gibson of West Des Moines, IA; stepsons: Randy (Tanya) Noble II and Jay (Mindy) Noble, all of Moline; stepdaughter Sarah (Bill) Feurt of Port Byron, IL; eight grandchildren; a sister, Vicky (Jon) Strom of Ames, IA; and one nephew. Kathy was preceded in death by her parents.
