Kathleen A Spencer

Kathleen A. Spencer, 79, of Moline, IL, died Saturday, January 6, 2018, in Harlingen, Texas. In lieu of a visitation, there will be a graveside service at 1:00 p.m., on Saturday, January 13th, at Western Township Cemetery in Orion, IL. If family or friends are bringing or sending flowers to the service, please choose her favorite yellow roses. There will be a Celebration of Life lunch immediately after the service at the Maple Street Grille in Orion. Kathleen Mulry was born July 14, 1938, in Wisconsin, to William Donald and Florence (Weldon) Mulry. She was a member of Moline High School class of 1958. She married Loren H. Spencer on June 13, 1956. Kathleen had a few jobs here and there but was mostly a stay at home mom. After the retirement of her husband, Loren, in 1995, they spent a lot of time traveling and selling at Flea Markets. Kathleen's favorite enjoyments were spending time with her grandchildren and family, antiquing, flea markets and traveling. Kathleen is survived by her four children, David (Lori) Spencer of Waterloo, IA, Lorna Adams of Margate, FL, Chris (Cheryl) Spencer of Buffalo, WY, and Marilyn (Thomas) Crawford of St Charles, Il. She was also blessed with eleven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, who she loved very much. She is also survived by her brother, Johnny Thomas, her sisters, Carol Estes and Patty (Mulry) Garrett, and friend Darla Henrichs. In addition to her husband, Loren, she was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Sharon Nagel, and brothers, Gerald and Dennis Mulry.
