Julie Klockenga-Stinson

Julie Klockenga- Stinson, 51, of Rock Falls, IL, passed away Monday, May 10, 2021, at Centennial Rehab and Healthcare in Moline, IL.

Visitation will be Friday, May 14, 2021, from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm, at Wendt Funeral Home in Moline, IL. Graveside service will be Monday, May 17, 2021, at 1:00 pm, at Hopeland Cemetery in Buda, IL.

Memorials may be made to the Happy Tails Humane Society in Rock Falls, IL, or JDRF - Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

Julie was born March 7, 1970, in Galesburg, IL. She married Michael Stinson on September 26, 2015, in Rural Avon, IL. Julie was a graduate of Roseville High School. She was a manager at Hy-Vee convenience store in Macomb and later in Clinton, IA. Julie very much enjoyed being outside, riding motorcycles, and loved taking in the sun.

In addition to her husband, Michael survivors include; daughter, Dakota Sopher (Josh Granell) of Moline, grandson; Heath, parents Sandra (Patrick) Wilckens of Knoxville, IL, siblings; Janine (Freddie) Perez of San Antonio, TX, Todd (Mickey) Klockenga of Abingdon, IL, Betsey (Dave) Booton of Peoria, IL, Michael (Tami) Wilckens of Oneida, IL, Andrew (Jeanette) Wilckens of Farmington, IL, step-children; Jennifer (Austin) Szegda of Bettendorf, IA, Michael Stinson of Kansas City, KS, Kristie (Caleb) Wendel of Marion, IA, and grandchildren; Chloe, Emma, Julian, and Casbian.

She was preceded in death by her father Bruce.
