Joseph G Simpson

Joseph G. Simpson, 45, of Ophiem, IL, passed away on May 21, 2016, in a single vehicle accident. Cremation rites will be accorded. A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family. Joey, as he was known by friends and family, was born March 31, 1971, in New London, CT, to Patsy Ann Sindt and Jerry G. Simpson. He enjoyed cooking and loved to show off his culinary skills, and was employed as a chef in many restaurants. Joey had a great love for all animals. He is survived by his daughter, Joelle Boleen, of Davenport, IA, and by his significant-other, Myra Whitcomb, of Ophiem, IL, and his beloved beagles, “MiaBea” and “Jo-Jo”. Joey was preceded in death by his parents.
