Joseph A Lafleur

Joseph A. LaFleur, 82, of Silvis, IL, died Wednesday, January 7, 2015, at Genesis Medical Center Illini Campus in Silvis. Services will be held Tuesday, January 13th, at 10 a.m., at Wendt Funeral Home in Moline, IL. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery in East Moline. Joseph A LaFleur was born in VillePlatte, LA, on June 5, 1932 to John B. and Lillian E. (Tate) LaFleur. He came to the Quad-Cities in 1962. He was a welder for Case-I.H. Company in East Moline for nearly 28 years, retiring in 1989. He was a member of St Anne’s Catholic Church in East Moline, and enjoyed raising vegetables and flowers, and canning vegetables and peaches. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, two brothers, and four half-brothers.
