John E. Peterson, 56, of Moline, IL, passed away peacefully Friday, January 28, 2022, at Unity Point Health - Trinity Medical Center in Rock Island, IL.

Per his wishes, cremation rites were accorded, and a Celebration of Life will be held this summer.

Memorials may be made to Youth Hope on 41st Street and 12th Avenue in Moline, IL.

John E. Peterson was born May 24, 1965, in Moline, IL, to Eugene and Lucy (Ingerson) Peterson. John graduated from Moline High School in the early 80's. He liked working in the construction trade and enjoyed flea markets and garage sales.

John had goodwill and a kind heart. He loved spending time with all his nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Survivors include his brother; Jody (Shirlee) Peterson of Davenport, IA, two sisters; Terry Rada of Chicago, IL, and Elizabeth Kizer of Moline, IL, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
