Joachim "Jack" Werner Mayfield, 67, of Moline, IL, passed away peacefully Tuesday, August 24th, 2021, at Clarissa C Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf, IA.

A private family service will be held.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Quad City Animal Welfare Center, Milan, IL .

Joachim "Jack" was born July 22nd, 1954, in Birkenfeld, Germany, the son of Edith Chilla.

Jack graduated from Moline High School in 1972. Upon graduating, he drove trucks for Standard Forwarding, operated concrete pump trucks and was a crane operator, working at various nuclear power plants throughout his life. His greatest enjoyments were owning and flying airplanes, motorcycles, corvettes and traveling to Germany to visit his family. Jack is also a member of Masonic Eureka Lodge #69 of Milan, IL.

Survivors include his mother Edith, father, Dewie, a sister, Ellen (Pat) Mohr of Bettendorf, IA and a brother James "David" (Cindy) Mayfield of Coal Valley IL; Nieces, Crystina, Kaitlyn, Courtney and a nephew Charlie.
