Jill M Grubaugh

Jill M Grubaugh, 54, of Moline, IL, passed away Monday, October 3, 2016, at her home. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 5th, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at Wendt Funeral Home in Moline. Services will be Thursday, October 6th, at 10:30 a.m., at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mount Bloom Cemetery, Tiskilwa, IL. Memorials may be made to the family for a fund to be established for the education of her grandchildren. Jill was born in Moline on January 1, 1962, to Edward and Shirley (Wells) Peterson. On May 4, 1984, she married her high school sweetheart, Steve Grubaugh, who preceded her in death January 31, 2016. They are together again. She graduated from the Moline High School Class of 1980, and was employed for twenty-six years by Sentry Insurance in Davenport, IA, as a Product Support Processor. She was a member of Salem Lutheran Church in Moline, and the Willard Velie Post Auxiliary of V.F.W. Moline. She enjoyed taking family vacations every year, attending concerts with friends, swimming, boating, riding a jet ski, and Jill especially loved her grandkids. Survivors include daughters, Danielle Grubaugh and Breanne Grubaugh, both of Moline; brother, Bruce Peterson of Moline; sister-in-law, Roberta “Bert” Peterson of Moline; and three grandchildren, Aiyana, Silas, and Salina.
