Jill Crouse

July 6, 1970 — May 16, 2023

Jill Marie Crouse, 52, of Moline, IL, passed away peacefully Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City, IA.


Visitation will be Thursday, May 18, 2023, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Wendt Funeral Home in Moline, IL. Services will be at the funeral home on Friday, May 19, 2023, at 1:00 pm. Burial will be in Moline Memorial Park & Mausoleum, Moline.


Memorials may be made to the family or the American Cancer Society.


Jill was born July 6, 1970, in Moline, IL, to Larry Heater and Jean Daniels. She married Brian Crouse in Davenport, IA, on June 25, 1993.


She graduated from Moline High School, class of '88. Jill worked at Sams Club and later moved to the Optical Department at Walmart.


Jill was a Quad City Elite Flaming Squirrels Robotics Team member and Team Leader of the Flaming Chipmunks for many years. She enjoyed coloring, sewing, painting, crossword puzzles, and traveling. She made it to 48 of the lower states.


Jill was a social butterfly. She was very kind, caring and considerate.


In addition to her husband, Brian, survivors include her children Amanda Crouse (Fiance Ethan Johnston) of West Virginia, Ashley Crouse (Conner Britain) of Moline, Alexander Crouse (Kayleigh Rouw) of Moline; and brother Michael Heater ( Lisa Layne) of Davenport.


She was preceded in death by her parents, and grandparents Hadley and Mary Heater, who adopted her.
