Jerome O Emerson

Jerome 'Jeremy' Emerson, 30, of Silvis, IL. died Sunday, September 1, 2013, at UnityPoint/Trinity in Rock Island, IL. Services will be Friday, September 6th, at 7:00 p.m., at Wendt Funeral Home in Moline, IL. Visitation will be prior to the service beginning at 4:00 p.m. Cremation rites will be accorded. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family for a fund to be established at a later date. Jerome O. Emerson was born in Rock Island, on January 1, 1983, to Dennis Cumming and Peggy (Emerson) O'Dell. He enjoyed reading, and doing research on the computer, and learning about all religions. His daughter, Michelle, was the love of his life. Survivors include: daughter Michelle Munroe of Silvis, IL; adoptive parents (grandparents) Patricia and William Emerson of East Moline; mother Peggy (Mike Livingston) O'Dell of Silvis; father Dennis Cumming of Minnesota; sisters: Missy O'Dell of Silvis, Trina O'Dell of Moline, and Nina Livingston of Colona, IL; brother Josh (Ashley) O'Dell of East Moline, and uncles: Danny (Martha) Emerson, and Timothy Emerson, all of Cleveland, TN, and Benny Emerson of East Moline; and several nieces and nephews.
