Jennie Myrl Isaacson

Jennie M. Isaacson, 89, of Milan, IL, passed away Monday, March 9, 2015, at Heartland Health Care Center in Moline, IL. Services will be held Saturday, March 14th, at 11:00 am at Trinity United Methodist Church in Milan, with a two-hour visitation from 9:00 am until time of the services. Burial will be at Rock Island Memorial Park Cemetery in Rock Island, IL. Wendt Funeral Home, Moline, is assisting with the arrangements. Memorials may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church, or Coyne Center Baptist Church. Jennie Myrl Winn was born in Hannibal, MO, on March 8, 1926, to Doss and Helen (Evans) Winn. On January 9, 1944, in Huntsville, MO, she married James W. Isaacson, who preceded her in death November 27, 1992. She graduated from high school in Huntsville, MO, and was employed by the Bendix Corporation for thirty-three years, retiring in 1989. She was also a representative for Stanley Home Products, Merrimac, and Friendly Home. She was a member within a Methodist Church for over seventy years, and always enjoyed being a Sunday school teacher. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, and was an avid bowler and a member of the 600 Club. Survivors include her daughter Sandra (Sid) Peterson of Germantown Hills, IL; grandchildren: Eric (Beth) Peterson of Chicago, IL, Emily (Brian) Points of Germantown Hills, IL, and Stephen (Michelle) Peterson of Morton, IL; four great-grandchildren: Addison Myrl Points, Andrew Jess Points, Sydney Brooks Peterson, and Dean Raleigh Peterson; and a sister, Elizabeth McEuen of Summerfield, FL; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and two brothers, J.D.Winn and Orval Dean Winn.
