Jeffrey A Bostrom

Jeffrey Bostrom, 59, of Moline, IL, died Thursday, April 26, 2012, at Trinity Medical Center in Rock Island, IL. Jeffrey A. Bostrom was born in Rock Island, on September 20, 1952, to Roy A. and Marion (DeDoncker) Bostrom. On April 23, 1983, in Moline, he married Jody Wallace. He graduated from Alleman High School in Rock Island, and the University of Illinois in Champagne, IL, and was employed in Marketing & Sales at John Deere Industrial Co. After retiring from John Deere, he was owner and operator of Bostrom Construction Company in Moline. He attended Sacred Heart Church in Moline, and was active in coaching and Boy Scouts. He, himself, attained the rank of Eagle Scout. He loved spending time with his family in the Northwoods of Wisconsin. In addition to his wife Jody, survivors are: daughter: Meggie Bostrom of Moline; sons: John and Tommy Bostrom, both of Moline; a most precious grandchild: Avie Elizabeth Bostrom of Moline; two sisters: Mary Beth (Charles) Bostrom-Cybul of Riverside, IL, and Jane (William) Reagan of Moline; and a niece: Stephanie Reagan of Moline. He was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be Sunday, April 29th, from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., at Wendt Funeral Home in Moline. Services will be Monday, April 30th, at 10:00 a.m., at Sacred Heart Church, 1400 - 16th Avenue, Moline. Burial will be at Moline Memorial Park Cemetery in Moline. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Rock Island County Health Department.
