Jean E Miller

Jean E. Lhota Miller, age 87, of Moline, IL. died on Wednesday, May 23, 2007, at Heartland Health Care Center in Moline. Jean E. Garee was born December 5, 1919, to Samuel and Lillian (Leonard) Garee in Washington, PA. She married Jack Miller who preceded her in death. She was employed for 20 years as Executive Secretary for the Canton Chamber of Commerce, Canton, OH; and then was a Secretary for Kraft Foods for 15 years, retiring in 1985. She came to this area four years ago. A private family memorial service will be held on Sunday, May 27th at 3:30 P.M. at Wendt Funeral Home in Moline. Memorials may be made to the Childrens Therapy Center of the Quad Cities at 1504 - 13th Avenue, Moline, IL. Survivors include a daughter: Jean Anne Johnson of Cordova, IL.; a son: William Lhota of Worthington, OH.; a stepdaughter: Cindy Beasley of Sandusky, OH.; two stepsons: Mike Miller of Albuquerque, MN and Jack Miller, Jr; three granddaughters: Beth Bealer of Coal Valley, IL., Terese Lepelley of Hudson, OH., and Ann Lhota of Columbus, OH.; two grandsons: Dan Lhota of St. Louis, MO., and Robert Lhota of San Francisco, CA.; and ten great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Jack, a son: Harold Lhota, Jr; and three brothers: John, Sam, and George Garee.
