Jared M Womack

Jared "Bear" Womack, 36, of Milan, IL, died Sunday, November 18, 2012. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 20th, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1330 - 13th Street, Moline. Services will be held at the church on Wednesday, November 21st, at 10:00 a.m., with burial at Moline Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family for an education fund for his children. Jared M. Womack was born Moline on May 10, 1976, to Jeffrey and Kathie (Brown) Womack. On June 8, 2002, he married his high school sweetheart, Melissa Frederick, who survives. Jared graduated from Rock Island High School in 1994, and the Quad City Barber College. He was co-owner and operator of the Main Street Barber Shop in Milan for ten years. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Moline. He enjoyed fishing, playing cards, watching movies, listening to music, and watching football, especially the Dallas Cowboys. He particularly loved spending time with his family. "Bear" was a mentor to many people. He always had a smile on his face, and could make others smile and laugh. He wore his heart on his sleeve, and everyone who knew him felt his love. In addition to his wife, Melissa, survivors include, a daughter and son: Jaiden and Jaxon Womack; his mother: Kathie Womack of Moline; his father: Jeffrey (Sheri) Womack of Davenport, IA; brothers: Jeremy (Lindsey) Womack of Coal Valley, IL, Justin Womack, and Joshua (Leanne) Womack, all of Moline; sisters: Gabrielle Womack of Beaumont, TX, Taylor (Michael) Morrison of Chicago, and Kobi Lazenby of Davenport; grandmother: Veronica Willis of DeKalb, IL; his father- and mother-in-law: Mike & Mary Frederick of Rock island; a sister-in-law: Lori (Chris) Allison of Rock Island, IL; and nieces and nephews: Benton, Jillian, Jocelyn, Jack, Herb, Alexandra, Trinity, Brooke, Bailey, and Isabella.
