James Edwin Falline

James "Jim" Edwin Falline, 94, of Moline, IL, passed away peacefully Tuesday, January 12th, 2021, at his home in Moline, IL.

A private family service will be held on Saturday, January 16th, 2021 at Wendt Funeral Home Moline, IL, with a one-hour visitation from 10 am to 11 am prior to service. Inurnment will be at Rock Island National Cemetery with Military Honors conducted.

Memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, Moline, IL .

Jim was born October 27th, 1926, to Edwin and Myrtle (White) Falline. He married Mardelle Docherty on April 22, 1950 in Rock Island IL. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran, serving in WWII. Jim was employed as a Process Engineer at International Harvester Farmall Plant retiring in 1985.

He enjoyed golfing, watching the Chicago Bears and Cubs games, traveling and spending time with family. Jim was also a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Moline.

Jim is survived by his wife Mardelle of 70 years, his children; Marsha Falline of Littleton, CO, and Brian Falline of Shorewood, MN, his grandchildren; Dane Falline, Kade Falline, and Erin Falline.

He was preceded in death by his sisters; Betty McCaw and Marylee Lautz.
