James Arnold Wurbs

James Arnold Wurbs, 79, of Rock Island, IL, died Saturday, July 26, 2014, at Rosewood Care Center in Moline, IL. The body was cremated, and a private burial was conducted at Rock island Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Rock island. He was born September 16, 1934, in Rock Island, the son of Arnold and Blanche (Cruzen) Wurbs. He was a lawyer, and he served in the Illinois National Guard. Survivors include a daughter, Sandra Schneider of Iowa: a cousin, Martin Wurbs of California; and a good friend, Jeff Peterson of Moline.
