Jacqueline K Priest

Jacqueline K. Priest, 74, of Moline, IL, passed away Friday, August 12, 2016, at UnityPoint Trinity West in Rock Island, IL. Services will be Wednesday, August 17th, at 5:00 p.m., at Wendt Funeral Home in Moline, with a two-hour visitation at 3:00 p.m. until time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family. Jacqueline Swenline was born October 1, 1941 in Davenport, IA, daughter of Robert and Neva Swenline. On October 1, 1971, in Green Rock, IL, she married G. Wayne Priest, who survives. After graduating high school and college, Jacqueline, known as “The Candy Lady”, was employed for 32 years as a secretary for John Deere Harvester Company. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Moline, and loved knitting and spending time with her family. In addition to her husband, Wayne, survivors include her children, Thomas Priest, Connie Priest, Shawn Priest, and Mandy Daignbault; ten grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.
