Inez Grace Foster

Inez Foster, 95, of East Moline, IL, passed away Tuesday, January 20, 2015, at Riverwood Rehab in East Moline. Services will be Saturday, January 24th, at 11:00 a.m., after a one-hour visitation beginning at 10:00, at Wendt Funeral Home in Moline. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens in East Moline. Memorials may be made to Hospice Compassus. Inez Grace Foster was born in Buffalo, IA, on July 20, 1919, to Arthur and Mary (Benson) Leonard. On September 17, 1938, in Missouri, she married Andrew L. Foster, who preceded her in death 2001. Inez retired in 1986 after many years at Crescent Bakery in Davenport, IA. She enjoyed Bingo and crocheting, and loved the Cubs. Survivors include her daughters, Nancy Breitenstein of Coal Valley, IL, Donna Hedrick of Colona, IL, Karen (Mike) Vest of Moline, and Melody (Glenn) Schmidt of Davenport; a sister Mary Daniel; twelve grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren, and eight great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, eight brothers, two sisters, two grandchildren, a son-in-law, and a son, Clifford “Sonny” Foster.
