Ilomay M Weeks

Ilomay M. Weeks, age 86, of Moline, IL, passed away Sunday, March 16, 2014, at Clarissa Cook Hospice House in Bettendorf, IA. Per her wishes, the body will be cremated. A graveside service will be held Friday, March 21st, at 1:30 p.m., at the National Cemetery on Arsenal Island in Rock Island, IL. Family and friends wishing to attend the graveside services, should arrive at Wendt Funeral Home in Moline, between 1:00 p.m. and 1:15 p.m., for the procession to the cemetery. Ilomay M. Wilson was born on in Keokuk, IA, on February 28, 1928, to Harold and Maude (Steffy) Wilson. In Waukegan, IL, on August 13, 1959, she married Alfred P. Weeks, who preceded her in death on August 22, 1997. She retired from the Rock Island Arsenal as a Service Transportation Clerk, on February 29, 2008, at the age of 80. She loved dancing, reading, traveling, and her Himalayan cat, Jessie. Survivors include, daughters: Vicki Burnette of Chicago, and Melody (Gary) Admonson of Rock Island; a son: Brian Weeks of Moline; and two grandchildren: James Fecht and Jason Fecht. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister.
