Helen N Hobbs

Helen N. Hobbs, age 87, of Moline, IL. died Monday, July 16, 2007, at Trinity Pathway Hospice in Bettendorf, IA. Helen N. King was born on March 20, 1920, to John and Margaret (Crutcher) King in Trenton, MO. She married Guy Hobbs on May 20, 1937, in Trenton, MO. He preceded her in death in October of 1978. She was a home maker, and especially enjoyed her grandchildren. Services will be held Thursday, July 19th, at 10:00 A.M., at Wendt Funeral Home in Moline. Rev. Douglas Schoonover will be officiating. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 18th, from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M., at the funeral home. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens in Silvis, IL. Memorials may be made to Trinity Pathway Hospice. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law: Judy and Butch Creen of East Moline, IL.; her son-in-law: Don Nyquist of Silvis, IL.; six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and a daughter: Rita Nyquist.
