Helen L Hall

Helen L. Hall, 92, of Moline, IL, passed on to be with her Lord on Tuesday, March 27, 2007. Visitation will be Thursday, March 29, 2007, from 6:00 PM until 8:30 PM at the Wendt Funeral Home in Moline. Funeral Services will be held Friday, March 30, 2007 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Rock Island Girls Softball League. The former Helen L. Blaser was born February 11, 1915 in Coal Valley, IL, to Albert and Louise Daxon Blaser. She married Robert A. Hall on December 31, 1937 in Coal Valley. He passed away May 24, 1997. In early years, Helen was a Field Representative for Marshall Fields (World Book Division). She graduated with the Coal Valley High School Class of 1933. Helen was a member of Church of Christ Scientist. She loved her family and friends, and enjoyed antiquing, cooking, baking, playing cards, and was an accomplished seamstress. Survivors include: children (and spouses); Robert B. (Connie) Hall of Milan, IL, Cynthia Scott of Rock Island, IL, Bruce (partner Sue) Hall of Champaign, IL, Douglas (Kathy) Hall of Rock Island, IL, seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, daughter-in-law Dee Hall of Colona, IL, and many nieces and nephews who have cherished her. Also, her loving extended family of caregivers, Sonja Meraz (granddaughter), Wanda Galbrath, and Ann Lopez. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert, her parents, Albert and Louise, brothers Albert, Ted, Chester, Bernard, Paul, Harold, and Alan, her sister Laura Mae, her beloved sister Mary Blaser Wilson, and a grandson Eric Scott.
