Helen G Sullivan

Helen G. Sullivan, 86, of New Berlin, WI, previously of Moline, IL, died Wednesday, September 16, 2009 in Wisconsin. A visitation will be held Monday, September 21st, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., at Wendt Funeral Home in Moline. A private family graveside service will be held later at Greenview Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or to the American Diabetes Association. Helen G. Davis was born in Mt. Sterling, IL, on July 9, 1923, to Miles and Anna (Fredlin) Davis. In November of 1993, in Moline, she married Herbert Sullivan, who preceded her in death in March of 2008. She retired in 1989, after twenty-two years at the Rock Island Arsenal in Rock Island. She was a member of First Christian Church in Moline, the Golden Circle at the church, the Christian Womans Fellowship, and the Home Maker Extention Club. Survivors include: two daughters: Barbara Fawks of Tampa, FL, and Sandra Henriksen of New Berlin, WI; a sister: Mabel Newton of Mt. Sterling, IL; four grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, and two sisters.
