H. Pauline Windisch, 95, of Moline, IL, passed away peacefully Friday, May 7, 2021, at Hope Creek Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center.
Services will be on Monday, May 10, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Wendt Funeral Home in Moline; with a one-hour visitation before the service beginning at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be in Rose Lawn Memorial Estates in Moline.
Memorials may be made to the donors' favorite no-kill animal shelter.
Pauline Quantance was born in Morrison, IL, on February 18, 1926, to Clint and Linda (Stralow) Quantance. She married Charles E. Windisch on November 15, 1945, in Clinton, IA.
Pauline enjoyed sewing, rock gardens, caring for her flower and vegetable gardens, and especially loved her grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, survivors include her daughter, Paula (Roger) Bacus of Moline; her sons, Rick (Leanne Johnson) Windisch of Moline, Robert W. (Sandy) Windisch of Coyne Center, IL, and Chuck (Jane Taylor) Windisch of East Moline, IL; eight grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; a sister, Lois Cook, and a brother, Jack (Barb) Quantance, both of Clinton, IA.
Family and friends are invited to share memories and express online condolences.
