Gregory A. Peck, 62, of Moline, IL, passed away Sunday, April 14, 2013, at his home. A visitation will be held Tuesday, April 16th, from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m., at Wendt Funeral Home in Moline. Services will be Wednesday, April 17th, at 10:30 a.m., at the funeral home. Burial will be in Rosedale Cemetery in Cambridge, IL. Memorials may be made to Trinity Pathway Hospice. Gregory Albert Peck was born in Rock Island, IL, on June 2, 1950, to Raymond and Jewell (Wexell) Peck. On August 17, 1997, in Moline, he married his best friend, Jo Anne Diveney, who preceded him in death on March 1, 2006. He graduated from Rock Island High School. He was a glaizer for 45 years, working in several states. He spent 15 years in San Diego, CA, raising his children on Harleys and fishing boats. Eventually, he retired in May of 2012, from Mid American Glazing Systems in Davenport, IA. Greg was a member of 15th Avenue Christian Church in Rock Island, was a Moline Township Trustee, was involved in motorcycle safety training at the local high schools, and was a member of ABATE. He enjoyed doing carpentry, and was an avid Harley rider, who loved road-tripping on his bike. Survivors include, daughters: Marie Ahles of St. Cloud, MN and Tina Kramer of Littleton, CO; son: Raymond G. Peck of Moline; step-daughter: Dixie Hovey of Davenport, IA; step-sons: Don Fisher of Geneseo, IL, Darrell Fisher of Gulf Breeze, FL, and Dave Fisher of Fort Walton Beach, FL; fiancee: Mary Lamb of Moline; a sister: Deborah Peck of Moline; a brother: Doug Peck of Medford, NJ; seventeen grandchildren and one great-grandson. He was preceded in death by his wife and his parents.
