Glenn H Fraser

Glenn H. Fraser, 74, of Moline, IL, died Friday, October 23, 2009, at Trinity Medical Center West in Rock Island, IL. Visitation will be Monday, October 26th, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., at Wendt Funeral Home in Moline. Services will be Tuesday, October 27th, at 11:00 a.m., at the funeral home. Per his wishes, cremation rites will then be accorded. Memorials may be made to Christian Friendliness in Moline. Glenn H. Fraser was born in Creston, IA, on March 27, 1935, to Alexander and Maxine (Carl) Fraser. On November 29, 1952, in Aledo, IL, he married LaRue Reuter, who survives. He was a graduate of Moline High School, and was employed for thirty years at J.I. Case Company in Bettendorf, IA, retiring in 1987 as a General Foreman. He enjoyed fishing, golf, traveling, and was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. In addition to his wife, LaRue, survivors include; daughters: Denise (Rian) Basala of Viola, IL, Robin (Kent) Schlundt of Thornton,CO, Lori (Daniel) Miller of Eldridge, IA, and Leslie (Joe) Fonseca of Rock Island, IL; a sister: Carla Brewer of Mountain Home, AR; two brothers: Gene (Gail) Fraser of Moline, and LeRoy Fraser of Mountain Home, AR; nine grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.
