Geraldine Stablein

Geraldine “Gerry” Stablein, 78, of Moline, IL, died at her home on Wednesday, July 15, 2020.  There will be no services.  The family wishes you to have a beer in your home and remember Gerry. Memorials may be made to Wanda Gomez. Gerry was born March 4, 1942, in Davenport, IA, daughter of Burl and Esther (Galbraith) Leonard.  She married Thomas Gomez, and later married Phil Brewer. She then married James Stablein, who preceded her in death.  Gerry graduated from Davenport High School and Cosmetology School.  She was employed for many years as a bartender at The Flame, the Tiger Den, the Yankee Clipper, and Kenny’s Corner.  She enjoyed bar tending and was a die-hard Cubs fan. She is survived by her daughter, Wanda Gomez; her brother, Lloyd Douglas Leonard; four grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. Gerry was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Donna Marie Bettis, and her son, Brian William Brewer.
