George Brian Paprocki

George B. Paprocki, 77, of Rock Island, IL, passed away peacefully Tuesday, July 25, 2023, at his home.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Meyers Restaurant & Bar 4260 S. 76th St, Greenfield, WI, at 4:00 pm, on Friday, August 25, 2023.

George better known as "Brian" was born in Milwaukee, WI, on September 29, 1945, to George and Caroline (Tylicki) Paprocki. He married Melissa (Mitzi) Maki on April 11, 1987, in Milwaukee, WI.

In his early years, Brian was an outstanding scholar. His thirst for knowledge led him to earn a master's degree, a testament to his dedication and commitment to educational pursuits. However, his pursuits were not confined to just the academic sphere. In his professional life, Brian was a self-employed personal vocational expert.

Brian enjoyed reading, a hobby that offered him relaxation, and in his younger years, he enjoyed bicycling and cars, and throughout his life, he has always had a great love for all animals.

Survivors include his wife Mitzi, daughter Tracy Paprocki, Rock Island, son David (Amy) Paprocki, Milwaukee, WI; beloved granddaughter Elsie Paprocki; and two brothers Gregory (Jane) Paprocki, and Mark (Lori) Paprocki all of Milwaukee, WI; and several nieces and nephews. He is accompanied in death by his loyal companion, Coco Chanel.
