Garry Allen Norin

Garry A. Norin, 71, of Moline, IL, passed away at his home, Thursday, February 27, 2015. Cremation rites have been accorded, and per his wishes, there will be no services. Burial will be held at a later date at Dayton Corners in Colona, IL. Memorials may be made to the family. Garry Allen Norin was born in Moline, on July 13, 1943, to Elmer and Elsie (Wilson) Norin. On July 17, 2004, in Moline, he married Martha Lowery, who survives. He graduated from Alleman High School, and retired as a truck driver for Roadway Trucking in September 1995. He was a former member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, and a member of the Friends Circle Club. He enjoyed living on the Rock River, doing cookouts, boating, and visiting with friends and family. He loved taking his little dog “PoBear” for truck rides, and taking care of “Jane” the cat. In addition to his wife, Martha, survivors include his sons, Ron Norin of Davenport, IA, and Jeff Norin of Moline; a step-daughter, Angela (Rodney) Senter of Davenport; sisters, Penny Burgess of Hawaii, and Teri Norin of Moline; brothers, Ken Norin and Randy (Dee) Norin, all of Moline; grandchildren, Brianna Norin, Adam and Justin Quintana, Corey Anderson, Ronnie Norin, Gabryelle Senter, Hana Senter, and Amber Senter; a great-grandson, Isaiah Norin; and many nieces and nephews.
