Eunice Mae Ahlstrand

Eunice Mae Ahlstrand, 93, passed away Friday, May 20, 2016. Born March 6, 1923 in Moline to the late Fred and Lillian (Dahlheim) Bicknell, met and married the late Donald Ahlstrand at Salem Lutheran Church, moved to Elmhurst in 1956, then Bensenville. She is survived by daughters Cynthia (Kirk) Merley and Deborah Ahlstrand, grandsons Kenneth (Lora) Merley and Christopher (Poe) Merley, five great-grandchildren Carson, Renee, Eve, Cadence & Peyton, family member Arlette Grubbe, nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her sister Helen (Dallas) Vineyard. Visitation on Friday, June 10, noon, at Wendt Funeral Home, 1811 15th Street Place, Moline, followed by Burial at Rock Island National Cemetery. Memorial Service on Saturday, June 11 at 1 p.m. at Bridgeway of Bensenville, 303 E. Washington St., Bensenville, IL.
