Edward C Clark

Edward C. Clark, 86, of Moline, IL, passed away at his home on June 15, 2023.

Services will be held at 1 pm on June 22, with a visitation before the service, from 11 am to 1 pm at Wendt Funeral Home, Moline. Inurnment will take place at Rock Island National Cemetery with military honors.

Ed was born on May 10, 1937, to Edward and Francis Clark (Mackinac). In 1956, he married the love of his life, Sylvia, and they had three sons and one daughter.

Ed retired as the head machinist for the region at the Corps of Engineers. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, woodworking, playing cards, and performing as "Pockets the Clown" at children's parties. He loved magic.

Survivors include his children, Edward (Iris) Clark in Germany, David (Cate) Clark in Washington, Richard (Gail) Clark in IL, and Pamela Clark in IL. He is also survived by his sister, Pat Chapman, along with 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were his wife, Sylvia, his parents, and sister, Ruth.

Memorial contributions can be made to Shriner's Children's Hospital or the American Legion Post 246.
