Earnest Lee Hook, 53, died Sunday, July 12, 2009, at his home in Powder Springs, GA. Visitation will be Sunday, July 19th, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Wendt Funeral Home in Moline, IL. Services will be Monday, July 20th, at 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens in East Moline, IL. Memorials may be made to the family. Earnest Lee Hook was born in Moline on May 31, 1956, to Earnest and Joyce (Bailey) Hook. He had worked in Georgia as a Machinist for A-1 Compressor for the past twelve years. In addition to his parents, Earnest G. and Joyce J. Hook of Moline, survivors include: a daughter: Brandi Hook of Dallas, GA; a sister: Tina (Herb) Black of Rock Island, IL; a brother: John Hook of Moline; and several nieces and nephews.
