Douglas Lynn Sell

Douglas Lynn Sell, 73, of Moline, IL, passed away on June 2, 2024, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City, IA.

Douglas was born on May 29, 1951, in Grand Island, NE, to Orville and Maxine (Seier) Sell.

He graduated from Moline High School in 1969 and attended the University of Iowa for business. Douglas worked as an assembler for John Deere, retiring in 2013, and continued to work after retirement.

His love for reading and walking was a significant part of his life. He was an avid walker, always seeking to stay active and healthy.

Douglas is survived by his sister Sharon (Mike) Wieck of Moline, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Per his wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. The burial will be held later in Grand Island Cemetery, NE. Memorials may be made to Quad City Animal Welfare Center, QC Paws.
