Donna N Leasenby

Donna N. Leasenby, 83, of Moline, IL, died Sunday, July 21, 2013, at Rosewood Care Center in Moline. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 24th, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., at Wendt Funeral Home in Moline. Services will be Thursday, July 25th, at 10:00 a.m., at the funeral home, with burial in Greenview Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Silvis, IL Memorials may be made to Church of Peace in Rock Island, IL, or to the Trinity Pathway Hospice. Donna N. Woest was born on March 6, 1930, to Oscar and Florence (Luckenbihl) Woest in Rock Island. She married Richard "Dick" L. Leasenby on June 10, 1950, in Jacksonville, IL. He preceded her in death December 15, 2004. She graduated with the Rock Island High School Class of 1947, and attended Palmer College of Chiropractic, and was a Chiropractic Technologist. She was a member of the Church of Peace in Rock Island, and enjoyed crafts and crocheting. Survivors include, sons: Dr. Michael (Kimberly) Leasenby of Moline, and Dr. Timothy (Kimberly) Leasenby of Aurora, IL; a sister: Sandra Woest of Magnolia, IL; a brother: Cliff Woest of Rockford, IL; grandchildren: Heather Pulford of Moline, and Alexander Leasenby of Aurora, IL; and great-grandchildren: Lexie Leasenby, Marisa Morales, and Joshua Morales. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by five brothers and sisters.
