Donald M.Tingley, 75, of Moline, IL, died Monday, April 21, 2014, at UnityPoint/Trinity Medical Center in Rock Island, IL. Visitation will be Friday, April 25th, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., at Wendt Funeral Home in Moline. Services will be Saturday, April 26th, at 10:00 a.m., at the funeral home. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens in East Moline. Memorials may be to the American Diabetes Association, 2600 - 72nd Street, Suite 0, Urbandale, IA 50322, or to the American Heart Association (Illinois), 208 LaSalle Street, Suite 1500, Chicago, IL 60604. Donald Marion Tingley was born in Unionville, MO, on February 6, 1939, to Ruben and Leo (Minear) Tingley. On July 25, 1970, in Moline, he married Mary Sue Stokes, who survives. He was employed by I.H. Farmall Works, and then by Ametek, and later, worked at Harold's On The Rock. He loved stock cars, and, when younger, he enjoyed fishing and hunting. In addition to his wife, survivors include, daughters: Sue Ann (John) Flores of Muscatine, IA, Tara Dawn (Al Rivera) Tingley of Chicago; sisters: Shirley Berg of Loves Park, IL, Anna Dudolski of Neosho, MO, Mari Hoereth, Pat Kinney, and Barb Tingley, all of Moline, and Ruth Tingley of Bay City, TX; brothers: Richard Tingley of Moline, and Robert Tingley of Rock Island; grandchildren: Dywane Hill, Ashley Hill, Adam Hill, Everlee Rivera, and Benny Rivera; and several nieces and nephews.
