Don M Randolph

Don M. Randolph, 64, of Cape Fair, MO, formerly Moline, IL, died Wednesday, April 30, 2008, at St. John's Hospital in Springfield, MO. Donald Michael Randolph was born on May 5, 1943, to Otis and Olga (Hellewege) Randolph in Cape Girardeau, MO. He married Mary W. Davidson, and she preceded him in death. He then married Paula M. Winiarski on May 20, 2004, in Las Vegas, NV. Don retired after 20 years as a welder for J. I. Case Co., first in Burlington, IA and then in Bettendorf, IA. He was a member of the Cape Fair Baptist Church in Cape Fair, MO; the UAW; and the Fraternal Order of Eagles at Oquawka, IL. He was a past President of the Willard School Dads Club, and he coached girls and boys softball for 25 years. Don loved to travel, and enjoyed fishing, hunting, hiking, and camping. Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 6th, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Wendt Funeral Home in Moline. Services will be held Wednesday, May 7th, at 10:30 a.m., at the funeral home. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Moline. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice. In addition to his wife, Paula, survivors include: daughters: Angela Gilmour of Galesburg, IL, Donna (Jim) Parr of Pleasant Valley, IA, Susan (Dan) Fox of Rockford, IL, and Tara (Bob) Steinhagen of Rock Falls, IL; a brother: Robert Randolph of Alexandra, LA; and eleven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter: Lori Beckett; and a son: Rickie Randolph.
