Deborah J Johnson

Deborah J. Johnson, 57, of Moline, IL, passed away Sunday, July 7, 2019, at Genesis Medical Center-Illini Campus in Silvis, IL. Visitation will be held Friday, July 12 th , from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m., at Wendt Funeral Home in Moline.  Services will be Saturday, July 13 th , at 10:00 a.m., at the funeral home.  Interment will be in Orion Lutheran Cemetery near Orion, IL. Memorials may be made to the family or to the American Cancer Society. Deborah was born in Moline on March 6, 1962, daughter of David and Dorothy (Blaylock) Klinge.  In Moline, on August 8, 1992, she married Mark W. Johnson, who survives. She was a 1980 graduate of Riverdale High School, and earned her Associate Degree at Black Hawk College.  She was employed at ORA Orthopedics in Moline, and then owned and operated a children’s daycare at her home for 19 years.  She enjoyed crafting, knitting, and crocheting. In addition to her husband, Mark, survivors include her children, Amy (Mike) VanSeveren, Kelly (Shawn) Durham, Dalton Durham, and Dylan Johnson, all of Moline; her mother, Dorothy Wells of Port Byron, IL; her sisters, Patricia Klinge of Moline, and Michelle Holderman of Rhode Island; her brother, Brian (Nichole) Klinge of East Moline, six grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her father, David Klinge, her step-father, Jerry Wells, and her grandparents.
