Darlene Joyce Knight

Darlene J. Knight, 76, of Moline, IL, died Sunday, July 7, 2013, at Heartland Health Care Center in Moline. Visitation will be Thursday, July 11th, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at Wendt Funeral Home in Moline. Services will be Friday, July 12th, at 11:00 a.m., at Trinity Lutheran Church, 2815 West 3rd Street, Coal Valley, IL. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens in Silvis, IL. Memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church in Coal Valley, IL. Darlene Joyce Rossow was born in Breckenridge, MN, on September 16, 1936, to Edward and Blanche (Roberts) Rossow. She married Donald Knight, who preceded her in death January 1, 1997. She was employed by the former Oak Glen Home in Coal Valley, and the Omelet Shoppe at the Quad City International Airport in Moline. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Coal Valley, and of the Widows Group at the church. She very much loved her dog, 'Dora'. Survivors include, daughters: Teresa Drace of Milan, IL, Tamala Kuelper, and Tracie (Charles) Sundeen, all of Orion, IL; ten grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one step-great-grandchild. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and two sisters.
