Darla Jean Bentley

Darla J. Bentley, 81, of Colona, IL, passed away Thursday, October 27, 2022, in her home.

Darla was born on October 6, 1941, in Moline, IL, to the late Albert (Speed) H. Haynie & Dorothy M. Haynie (Welvaert).

Darla did many things in her life, from nursing to waitressing, homemaker to being bar & grill Manager at the Bridgeview for over 20 years! She loved being around people!

She loved sports, especially NASCAR & the #3 Earnhardt & of course, the Bears & Cubbies! She was an excellent & avid bowler for many years until back problems set in, leading to 5 surgeries! Darla was a very giving person who loved her family dearly!

Survivors include her husband Jug; daughter Tracy & son Brian (Cindy) Wilson; an extended family of four step-children Scott, Sheri, Alycia, and Josh; grandchildren Jessica, Justin, Ashlee, Emily, Brian Jr. and Christopher (Chelsea); and numerous great and great-great grandchildren and step-grandchildren; and brother Edward Haynie.

She was preceded in death by her brother Richard, son Mark, and grandchildren McKenzie and Kristin.
