Dana Sackfield

Dana Sackfield, 68, of Moline, IL, passed away Sunday, December 25, 2022. Cremation rites will be accorded. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Dana was born on January 31, 1954, in Moline, IL, the son of Richard and Muriel (Lenox) Sackfield. He graduated with the class of 1972 from Rock Island High School and then continued his education at Southern Illinois University, earning his bachelor's degree in Engineering. He spent his career working for John Deere as an engineer, retiring in 2018.

He enjoyed fishing, riding ATVs, woodworking, and especially computer gaming.

Survivors include his mother, Muriel Sackfield; brothers Hal (Jolene) Sackfield and Jeff (Jeanne) Sackfield; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Kent Sackfield.
