Dale P. "Doc" Ohrberg, 93, of Memphis, TN, formerly of Rock Island, died Wednesday, April 16, 2008, at the Quince Nursing & Rehab Center in Memphis, TN. Dale P. Ohrberg was born on August 19, 1914, to Peter and Minnie (Munson) Ohrberg in Osco, IL. He married Vera "Peg" A. Louck on February 27, 1937, in Davenport, IA. She preceded him in death on November 23, 2003. He was owner of Quality Printing in Moline, IL, for 12 years, retiring in 1974. "Doc" was a member of the Friends Circle Club in Moline, and a life member of Printing House Craftsmen. Visitation will be held Sunday, April 20th, from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Wendt Funeral Home in Moline. Services will be Monday, April 21st, at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens in East Moline, IL. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice. Survivors include: a daughter: Carol Koch of Fond du Lac, WI.; a son: Larry (Mary Jo) Ohrberg of Memphis, TN.; a brother: Robert Ohrberg of Silvis, IL.; fifteen grandchildren; and twenty-eight great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his wife and his parents. The family of "Doc" Ohrberg would like to thank all of the medical staff at Quince Nursing & Rehab, and Crossroads Hospice of Memphis, TN, for their loving care, and especially Charlene Bonner of Crossroads, who made a spiritual difference in his life.
