Cindy Lee Adams

Cindy Lee Adams, 62, of Moline, IL, passed away at her home Friday, September 18, 2015. Private family services will be held at Wendt Funeral Home in Moline, on Wednesday, September 23rd, officiated by Pastor Randy Willers of Salem Lutheran Church in Moline, where Cindy was a member. There will be no visitation. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery in Moline. Memorials may be made to the family. The former Cindy Lee Dahlstrom was born in Moline on December 26, 1952, the daughter of Jack E. and Rose Ann (Carlson) Dahlstrom. She was raised in East Moline, and graduated from Blackhawk College with several degrees. In Moline, on March 6, 1976, she married Thomas E. Adams, who survives. She was employed at Lutheran Hospital in Moline, Augustana College in Rock Island, IL, and finally, Freebern Chiropractic in East Moline. Cindy enjoyed traveling, except to the mountains, and was looking forward to their return trip to Mexico. She enjoyed her years with the Catfish Jazz Society, where she was secretary and newsletter publisher and editor. She and Tom also volunteered for the Bix Society. Survivors include her husband, Tom; children, Sara (Jeff) Ames of Dubuque, IA and Eric Adams of Moline; her parents, Jack and Rose Dahlstrom of Carbon Cliff, IL; siblings, Lynn (Roger) Geerts of Davenport, IA, Kim (Deb Carter) Dahlstrom of Wilton, IA, Craig (Debbie Roth) Dahlstrom of Moline, Lori Dahlstrom of Moline, and Brian (Polly) Dahlstrom of Sherrard, IL; many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, and Nephews; her special friend, Murial, and our beloved grandchildren, Madelyn and Parker.
