Christopher A. Cunningham, 41, formerly of Moline, IL, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Tuesday, December 6, 2016, at his home in Aquilar, CO. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 14th, from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., at Wendt Funeral Home in Moline. Services will be Thursday, December 15th, at 1:00 p.m., at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Debbie Cunningham at Vibrant Credit Union. Christopher Alan Cunningham was born in Rock Island, IL, on August 2, 1975, to Wayne and Debbie (Jones) Cunningham. On January 29, 2008, in Rock Island, he married Karla Staudenmayer, who survives. Chris was a Moline High School graduate in the Class of 1993, and until his family move to Aquilar, Colorado in 2014, he was self-employed in the landscaping. He was a great fan of Cardinals Baseball, Philadelphia Eagles football, and enjoyed the challenge of the game of Poker. He especially loved spending time with his family, always putting them first in his life. In addition to his wife, Karla, survivors include his son, Christian Cunningham; his parents, Debbie Cunningham and step-father, Mark Rodriquez, of Moline, and Wayne Cunningham, Jr. of Silvis, IL; brother, Wayne (Bobbie) Cunningham III of Moline; step-sister, Tara “Mike” Ochoa of Colona, IL; and several nieces and nephews, including nephew, Jeffrey Cunningham of East Moline, niece, Jazmine Cunningham of Moline, and nephews Alonso Ochoa and Isaiah Ochoa, both of Colona.
