Christine Ann Anderson, 50, of Moline, IL, passed away Tuesday, September 26, 2017, at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House in Bettendorf, IA. Per her wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. A memorial service will be held Friday, October 6th at 2:00 p.m., at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1330 – 13th Street, Moline, with a two-hour visitation prior to the services beginning at noon. Memorials may be made to Special Olympics. Christine Ann Swan was born December 23, 1966, in Moline, daughter of David and Sue Ann (McLane) Swan. On September 28, 1991, she married John M. “Jack” Anderson, who survives. She graduated from United Township High School in East Moline, and was employed by McDonalds on Avenue of the Cities in Moline. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, a member of ARC of the Quad Cities, an avid Cubs fan, and was a winner of 380 medals through her participation in the Special Olympics. Christine told her family that she planned on being taken to Heaven in a purple helicopter, flown by Prince, while he sang Purple Rain. While in Heaven, she would be making rainbows for all. In addition to her husband, survivors include her sister, Patricia Lynn (Hervey A.) Qualls; several nieces and nephews whose family she especially loved. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Lynn Swan, and a brother, Terry Swan.
